Julie is a licensed esthetician and the owner and founder of dermaplus skin + body in San Francisco. She opened the doors to dermaplus in early 2001 in order to educated and help others with acne skin. Suffering from acne skin for most of her teenage years through her mid-twenties, Julie's search for healthy clear skin was relentless.

Originally from Massachusetts, Julie graduated from Northeastern University in 1995 and shortly thereafter, set out west and settled in San Francisco. During this time Julie's skin grew worse with painful breakouts. After visits to the dermatologist and large sums of money spent on products that didn't seem to help, a frustrated Julie decided to take matters into her own hands and enrolled in the Clinical Esthetician Program at Skyline College. In 1999, Julie graduated and received her California State Esthetician License. She learned not only to treat acne skin, but also the art of custom blending personalized skin products.

After a year of working in the spa industry, Julie realized she wasn't able to focus the attention needed on clients with problem skin in the spa environment, at that point, dermaplus skin + body was born.

Andrea began her journey into the skin care industry working as a makeup artist. Through her experience in cosmetics, Andrea realized that the first step to flawless makeup is beautiful healthy skin. This began her interest and venture into the skin care world. After attending the Esthetic Program at Skyline College, Andrea graduated and received her California State Esthetician License in 2007. Andrea takes pride in her knowledge of healthy skin. She enjoys listening to clients and has a strong passion for helping them achieve their specific skin care goals. Andrea has a very nurturing touch that gives all her clients peace of mind and calm of skin.

As a Registered Nurse with dermaplus, Rebecca has been able to combine many of her professional interests. She has been trained under one of the finest plastic surgeons and laser experts in the Bay Area. Under medical supervision, Rebecca performs treatments such as Laser Hair Removal, IPL and various tightening modalities.

Clients frequently comment on Rebecca's attention to detail and appreciate the comfortable environment she creates during each treatment. Both clients and co-workers enjoy her professionalism and personal attention. In addition to Laser, Rebecca also is a Labor and Delivery nurse. Other professional experiences include, working at a Birth Clinic in West Africa as well as a local Birth Center and Family Clinic here in the Bay Area.

As a Medical Aesthetics nurse at dermaplus, Nancy helps patients achieve their skin care goals by combining the latest in skin care and laser technology with client education and product awareness. She has 20+ years of nursing experience and is certified in Clinical Laser and Laser Hair Removal, Botox and Dysport injection, Sclerotherapy and Obagi skin care systems. She has been an ER / Trauma nurse for 15 years and spent 9 years in education and product sales to the Medical Spa and Spa Industry. She graduated from New England Deaconess School of Nursing in Boston. Nancy lives in San Francisco with her husband and 2 children.
